The Children’s Ministry at Calvary Chapel Breath of Life exists to ensure that parents can worship without distraction and children can learn on their own level. We desire to build up the body of Christ spiritually to model Jesus’ love in today’s wayward society.

Through building godly relationships and interactive age-appropriate Bible studies, we provide opportunities for the children to use their time, talents, and treasures to serve the Lord.
Our Structure
We begin in Noah’s Nursery with our 6 month to 2 year old children encouraging and comforting the children with songs and games to teach the babies about God’s love. While we are in a transitional location, we take care to sanitize all toys, mats, and gates before service times. During service, you can rest assured that your child will be prayed for and cared for by dedicated and trained volunteers.
In September after their second birthday, kids move to the Toddler Class (for children ages 2 and 3). The focus in this class is on teaching kids about how God shows us His love through the lives of Bible characters like you and I. Each week, we focus on a different character and how we can listen and obey God by honoring our parents and teachers. Explore
The Pre K- 1st Grade Class teaches children to apply God’s word to their lives through topical Bible studies/ object lessons, energetic activities, and meaningful crafts. This classroom challenges students to memorize Bible verses each week and bring their Bible to class. The gospel is offered to the students in this class on a regular basis to provoke the children to develop a personal relationship with Christ. This class is designed for children ages 4-6 years old.
The 2nd -5th Grade Class requires that children delve deeper into God’s word to find answers to their daily life challenges and situations that they face. In this age group, peer pressures tend to build and our goal is to prepare students with the tools they need to defend their faith and live for Christ. Through interactive discussion and opportunities for prayer, we seek to address any questions that our students come to class with. The children in this class are typically ages 7-11 and promotion to the youth ministry is based upon grade (students are promoted to the Junior High School class in the September when they move to the 6th Grade).
Our Services
We offer classes during service times on Sunday morning service and Friday night Bible study. You are welcomed to sign your child into class fifteen (15) minutes before service begins. On Sundays, Noah’s Nursery and the Toddler class have students signed into their classroom. On Friday, sign in for the Toddlers is in the rear of the Multipurpose Room. The sign in process for all of the other classes will be conducted in the rear of the Multipurpose Room on both Sunday and Friday. Please be sure to sign in your child before service begins (NOTE: An adult must sign in all children.).

Our next Children’s Ministry monthly meeting will be on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 8:45 a.m at Largo HS. Parents are welcome and also encouraged to attend.
Our next Noah’s Nursery monthly meeting will be on Sunday, May 31, 2015 immediately following service. We will meet inside the nursery. Parents are welcome and also encouraged to attend.
